Clarke (Bernie) Berntson
August 24, 2025
Ed and I originally met when we were about 9 years old in the 3rd grade. That is about one of the longest
Friendships Ever(90) years that anyone ever had. Ed would always say that we had been friends since the third grade at Washington Terrace Elementary school in Ogden. After those days of moving away from there we went
a lot of years before we ran into each other again the late 1960's at the Tedesco fun spot on Highland Drive in
Salt Lake where we had fun on the little Golf Course Each week in the summer time we played golf on the same team and started our lifetime friendship all over again. I am 6 moths older that Ed. I ws born Jan 18, 1936. Ed was born July 26, 1936.
I could go on and on over things Ed and I did together but you are probably tired of reading my notes already.
A great favor ed did for mr many moons ago was when I had sold my home with no place to go yet. Ed was living in Denver at the time and owned a little home on Los Alto street which he had rented out. He called his Renter and had a nice talk with them and they moved out of the house in a couple of days. This is the kind of friendship we had. I lived the a while and bought the house from Ed while I was building a new home.
I could go on and on about our friendship but I think you can tell that we were best of FRIENS for many years.
rest in peace old friend, hope to run into you up there some day.
You life long friend Clarke Berntson.

Las Vegas, NV- Honor and imperfection are always in competition with each other.I plead guilty to both.In a sermon, Dr. Lankerberg shared a profound truth, reminding our congregation that the only unpardonable sin is to believe that God will... Read Edward Fernstrom's Obituary
