As Chair of the Senate Committee on Veteran Affairs and Military Installations, I am sincerely thankful for his valiant service and dedication to our great country.

I am sorry for your family's loss. I fondly remember him as "Mr. Ed". My grandparents lived across the street from you. I recall he would always take a few moments to talk with me when I visited my grandparents. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
