We lived next door to Ed and Mary for four years. Ed was a wonderful neighbor and friend. We have shared many wonderful moments together. We were so shocked and saddened by his sudden passing. He is dearly missed by my husband and I, as well as my seven year old, Sophia. Sophia and Ed were very close friends and she will never forget him. Love, The Berry Family.

To Lori, Doug and all of Ed's Family~ I was very sad to read of Ed's passing. Last time I saw him was at Randi's funeral. It was great catching up with him. I have so many wonderful memories of your entire family from when we lived in Des Moines in the late 1950's and 1960's! You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May all your loving memories bring you comfort. With love and prayers from an old childhood friend. Susan Scheib Friedl, Cedar Rapids

Ed and I worked together for about 18 years. Like much of the Colonial Bakery crew, we were all family.
He taught me a lot. I will miss him.

I was so sorry to hear this news. I have many fond memories of Ed, and the Greenlee family. There are no perfect words to comfort you, but hold his smile and humor in your hearts, and let the memories soften the sharp edges of your grief.
