Ed was a very kind, generous person. He had the PATIENCE of Job in teaching me how to drive a gear-shift car. He BOLDLY sat thru my attempts at polka music on my accordion. He was SUPPORTIVE in my journey thru nursing school. He was THOUGHTFUL and always remembered my birthday and holidays with warm, tender greeting cards. Yes, he was all these things. I love him. He was "My Brother."

There are far too many memories to share of the things and times we spent together to even mention. Each one as special as the other. You have taught us, above all, the importance of family and being there for each other which will help us all deal with your loss. I love you daddy forever

My Uncle Ed was such a soft spoken gentleman and a great uncle. I looked forward to seeing him every time I made a trip from Oklahoma to New Jersey. I have very special memories of getting to spend summer vacations as a child at his and Aunt Grace's home with my cousins. He was always so kind to me and listened so earnestly to my stories about myself, my family and my mother, his only sister. He NEVER EVER forgot my birthday nor any other special occasion. I could always count on his card being the first one in my mailbox. It would always have the most beautiful, handwritten, heart felt message that quite honestly would bring tears to my eyes. I was so very blessed to get to know my New Jersey, Polish family of Uncles, Aunts, cousins and second cousins. I will miss my Uncle Ed. I will never forget him and may he rest in peace in heaven.

Mr. Serafin was great family man. I had the privilege of knowing him for many years. He always had a great sense of humor and a smile on his face. He loved his family dearly and any friend of his children were always welcomed to his home. The world needs more people like him in it. Rest in pease Ed.

My Father in Law loved his family every second of his life. He would come every birthday for all the kids and grandkids to personally deliver birthday cards to our homes, right on the birthday. When his son Rich and I were getting married he and my mother in law Grace flew all the way to Michigan for a second wedding celebration for us! I will miss him dearly and our children learned love and patience from their Grandpa! Love you Dad!
