Ed Sharp was quite a character. I met him when he and some family members came out to Washington State and they went fishing in the Pacific Ocean for Coho (Silver) Salmon. The water was rough, with 15 foot swells and that didn't agree with Ed. Ed and I kept in touch with Christmas cards and a few phone calls. I always held out the hope that he would make it back out here so I could take him fishing on Puget Sound where the water isn't so rough and he could catch a few nice salmon. This year I got back the Christmas card I sent him and that is what alerted me that something had happened.
My sympathy goes out to Ed's family and all those who loved him and cared about him. He will be missed, but he will always be in our hearts.
Remember Ed, in heaven the fish are bigger and never get away! Keep your line wet.

Was honored to be Ed's "Personal Banker". We had lots of good conversations and laughs. Thanks too for his Military service and his sacrifice for our freedoms. Judy Chadwell
