Eleanor M. Bice, 92, of Marianna, died Friday, November 23, 2018, in her home.
She was born April 28, 1926, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, to the late Elbart and Rosaltha Donley Schwender.
She attended Patton Run School. Eleanor enjoyed being with family. She liked reading her Bible, watching Billy Graham, working puzzles and playing card games and state capitals.
She was a member of Calvary Chapel of Brownsville for many years.
She married Walter W. Bice in 1948, sharing more than 40 years of marriage with him, until his death November 1, 1988.
Surviving are nine children, Sandra Young of Balmont, Ohio, Paula Kinney of Scenery Hill, Sharon (Ed) Gresham of Portland, Ohio, Helen Cochran of McDonald, Bud (Peggy) Bice of Fredericktown, Roy Bice of Marianna, Juanita Harless of Escalon, Calif., Richard (Aretta) Bice of Charleroi and Melvin Bice of Marianna; 13 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a sister, Evelyn Hartung of Bridgeport, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, Elbart and Rosaltha Schwender, and her husband, Walter W. Bice, are two children: daughter Wilda Bice and an infant son; four brothers; two sisters; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, November 28, in Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, with Pastor John Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Washington Area Humane Society.

I am so lucky to have been able to be brought into this wonderful family. Granny Bice was such a blessing. I will always remember the card games and dominoes that we would always play. Although it is sad for us here on earth, she is free from pain and suffering. We love and miss you granny.
