Erik Lyth Obituary

LYTH Erik Rosten Passed away peacefully on May 20, 2008. Erik was a Master Goldsmith and Diamond Setter, who created works of art for Royalty. He was commissioned by the Danish Royal Family to produce gifts of appreciation for Sir Winston Churchill (a silver diamond encrusted cigar box) and for Lady Churchill (a silver bow shaped brooch). Predeceased by his loving wife of 51 years, Kirsten. Survived by his loving children, Soren and Merete "Maida"" Milthorp (George), grandchildren Kristina, Lisa and Steven. Funeral service on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 2:00pm in the Danish Lutheran Church, 6010 Kincaid St., Burnaby. If so desired, a donation to the Danish House Society, Scandinavian Centre, 6640 Thomas St., Burnaby, BC, V5B 4P9 appreciated. Wiebe and Jeske (604) 857-0711

Memories keep those we care about close.
As I remember Erik, I cannot help but think of Kirsten by his side – the stories, the smiles, the toasts – and thoughts of you Soren are never far away as I remember Erik -

Such fond memories of erik and kirsten.We shared many a schnapps and danish delights that kirstan had prepared, and their was always laughter around the table. Godbless you both in heaven.My thoughts are with you maida and soren....Peter& Julie ravenhill

I met Erik in 1985. I remember all his great stories from the past and present that he shared with me. He welcomed me as a member of his family. Memories of Erik and Kirsten will be treasured and cherished by me always Regina
