DANVILLE - Felix "Phil" Stroh, 86, of 120 W. Market St., died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004, at the Columbia-Montour Home Hospice at Maria Hall, Danville.
He was born Nov. 22, 1917 in Wilkes-Barre, a son of the late Felix and Caroline (Kachuba) Stroh.
Phil was the owner of Gem Furniture in Danville from 1947 to 1981.
He was a member of St. Joseph Church, Danville.
Surviving, are one son, Thomas Stroh of Mifflintown; six grandchildren; one brother, Henry Stroh of Danville; and four sisters, Dorothy Yapsuga of Allentown, Helen Kiwak of Kingston, Mary Daniel of Wilkes-Barre and Mrs. Gus (Irene) Janoski of Pittston.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Theresa Boguszewski, in 1991 and one daughter, Katherine Coakley on Oct. 19, 2004.
There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church, Danville, with his pastor, the Rev. William Weary, officiating.
Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Nanticoke.
Arrangements are being provided by Brady Funeral Home Inc., 320 Church St., Danville.

Please accept my condolences for your loss. Felix was a Life member of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. I am sorry that we did not learn of his death sooner, so that we could have provided an Honor Guard at his viewing. I will contact Fr. Weary to make arrangements for a memorial in Felix's name from our Assembly.
