Gail Ridge Obituary
Great Falls —Gail Joan (Wohlgemuth) Ridge, 69, of Vaughn, died peacefully Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at her home after a lengthy illness. Visitation is Friday, May 30 from 6-8pm at Croxford Funeral Home and the Funeral service will be Saturday the 31st at Croxford's Chapel at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Sun River Cemetery.
Gail, daughter of Joyce and Helen (Hanson) Wohlgemuth and the youngest of two children, was born January 7, 1945 in Great Falls, MT. She was raised in Vaughn and graduated from Simms High School in 1963. She married Joseph "Andy" Dixon Andrew, Jr. shortly after graduation in June 1963. From this union two children (Connie and Denise) were born. They later divorced and Gail was remarried.
Gail, a crafty lady, was a florist for a number of years and a past judge for the Home Arts entries at the Montana State Fair. She was also a lifetime member of Rainbow Garden Club and a past member of the Helen C. Roberts Chapter OES. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and Sun River Valley history.
Gail was blessed with a good friend and caregiver, Larry LaFountain. Without Larry, she would not have been able to remain in her home, where many fun times were had with family and friends. Gail was quick-witted and loved to share stories. She was always willing to help others out and had countless friends. She loved spending time with her family in Illinois.
Survivors include two daugthers, Connie (Jon) Cybulski of Colona, IL and Denise (Brad) Ford of Geneseo, IL; four grandchildren, Paige Cybulski of Golden, CO, Jon "Jack" Cybulski of Colona, IL, Justin Ford and Allyson Ford of Geneseo, IL; sister-in-law, Pat Wohlgemuth of Great Falls, MT; three nieces, Amber (Leo) Malinak, Paula Darling (Rick Walter), and Heather (C.J.) Foley; and numerous extended family members.
Those who have preceded her in death include her parents; brother, Gary Wohlgemuth; and her second husband.
Memorial in Gail's name are suggested to Montana Hope Project, PO Box 5927, Helena, MT 59604.
