Geoffrey Suddenly on August 10th, 2008, in hospital, Geoffrey, aged 75 years, of Read, the dearly loved husband of Anne, much loved father of Kay, Gillian and Peter, loving father-in-law of Duncan and Peter, a wonderful grandpa of Ian, Charles, David, James and Leonie, a dear brother of Burt and Kathleen also a loved uncle.
Reposing in 'Peacehaven' Chapel of Rest. A service will be held at St John's Church, Read, followed by cremation at Accrington Crematorium - date and time to be arranged. Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Geoffrey if so desired may be given for either the Ribble Valley Heart Fund, c/o Mrs S. Healey, Pendleside Medical Practice, Clitheroe Health Centre, Railway View Road, Clitheroe, BB7 2JG or the North West Air Ambulance, c/o Mrs V. My father was Fred Roberts ,Bacup dentist.Geoff always spoke fondly of him when we met...I was Vicar of Clitheroe Parish Church 86-97..used to see Geoff and you occasionally at the golf club.We now live in Minchinhampton Glos.Hilary and I send our love at this sad time for you all and remember you in our prayers.With fond memories of Geoff..Anthony and Hilary

Mr wood was a lovely gentleman who will be sadly missed by a lot of people. I had the privledge
to work with Mr Wood as a dental nurse at Irene Gotts in Clitheroe. May you rest in peace love Michellexxx
