George KLEIN Obituary
1919 - 2016
It is with great sadness and gratitude that we announce the passing of George Emery Klein. Having survived his loving wife Agy Polly, he will be greatly missed by his two sons, Frederic and Nicholas, his grandchildren, Aaron and Scyler Pim, nephews, Peter and Robert and his caring extended family, Holly, Frederique, Barbara, Joanne and Annie. He passed peacefully, with dignity, in his sleep on Thursday morning, March 31, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. A survivor of Labour camps and European dictatorship, he succeeded in transplanting his family to the free world giving them a chance at a new life. A true old world gentleman, yet with a modern humanist philosophy, he displayed elegance and economy in all aspects of his life. Always a charmer, classical music and riding horses were among his great pleasures, though above all he loved his family and always put them first. There will be a memorial on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont, Quebec H2V 2P9 (514) 279-6540.
