CARY - Geraldine Frances Lingk nee Falconer, 61, of Cary and formerly a 35-year resident of Denver, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at Alden Health Care Center in Long Grove.
She was born Oct. 20, 1946, in Chicago, to Robert G. and Patricia (Elle) Falconer.
She was an avid Scrabble fan and loved adventure, travel and shopping.
She is survived by her daughter, Angie (Greg) Wallis of Crystal Lake; two sons, Chris (Diane) Lingk of Clermont, Fla., and Mike (Debbie) Lingk of Frisco, Texas; seven grandchildren, Rachel and Mason Wallis, Amber, Bryce and Eddy Lingk, and Ken and Beth Schrock; seven sisters and three brothers, Toni (Falconer) Riggs, Bobby Falconer, Denise (Falconer) Stratton, Kevin Falconer, Bonnie Falconer, Patti (Falconer) Molitor, Michael Falconer, Monica (Falconer) Trendler, Lisa (Falconer) Passaglia and Heather (Falconer) Behm; and her mother.
She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Stephen (Flip) Falconer.
The visitation will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, until the memorial service at 8 p.m., at Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, Route 14 and Silver Lake Road, Cary.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated for the Seasons Hospice, 606 Potter Road, Des Plaines, IL 60016.
