Godfrey Felix "Horse" Millet Sr.

Millet Sr., Godfrey "Horse" Felix Godfrey "Horse" Felix Millet Sr., age 70, died at 12:05 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005, at St. James Parish Hospital, Lutcher. He was a native of Mount Airy and a resident of Gramercy. Mr. Millet was a retired employee of the Town of Gramercy, where he worked for 33 years. He was a longtime member of the Gramercy Volunteer Fire Department. Godfrey is survived by his wife, Joyce Berthelot Millet; six children, Donna Arceneaux and husband Dale, Michael Millet and wife Vicki, Durel Millet and wife Angela, Donald Millet, David Millet and Godfrey Millet Jr.; brother, Jerry Millet and his wife, Judy Millet, of Salem, N.H.; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Arceneaux, Terri Arceneaux and fiancé Scott Navarre, Toni Arceneaux, Donald Millet Jr., Sunni Millet, Michael LeBouf Jr., Brent Becnel and Kalib Becnel; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Melba Leblanc, Antoine "Tweet" and Sandra Berthelot, Denny Rae and Ronald Melancon, Marietta and Albert Bourgeois and Sharon Sensebe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Adele Millet; brother, Sidney Millet Jr.; and sisters, Lucy Millet and Theresa Berthelot. Visiting was at Rose Lynn Funeral Service, Lutcher, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, and from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2. Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gramercy, at 11 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Frank Uter. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Paulina.
