Something so hard
goes straight to the soul;
it seems impossible to get over
and my heart is left with a big hole.
I'm trying to be happy, wearing a smile;
but I'm dying inside.
The world seems to be fading,
and I just want to run and hide.
Everywhere I go I see your face,
and realize how much I miss you;
and on the day you died
a piece of me died too.

Aunt Donna,
I am so sorry about the loss of your father. Having lost Mamma just the day before, I know what it feels like to lose a parent. We are family and it is times like these when we need to stick together and use the shoulders that surround us to lean on. Please let me know if you need anything, even if it is just prayer. "The family that prays together, stays together."
Love you,

I don't know how to say it. All I can say now is that I want to express my sympathy.
