Gosta Edvardsson

My sincere condolences to Gösta's family. I remember him as a man full of a zest for life: dancing, skiing, socializing -- fully present to whatever he was doing. Thanks, Gösta, for your great example of life well lived!

Both Gosta and Ellen are remembered for keeping the Scandinavian Dance group engaged and practicing. Many fun times!

Deepest sympathies

Many of our Orienteering Ottawa members remember Gösta well - mostly as the wonderful '70 year old Swede' we younger Canadians wished we could be like. Club members' memories can be found at ottawaoc.ca.

So sad to hear of Gösta's passing. We have many lovely memories of him as a very attentive and kind husband.
His love of the outdoors was a great inspiration to us all.

The Canadian Nordic Society was sad to learn of Gösta's death. He served as President of the Canadian Nordic Society 1989-92, and later as Honorary Auditor.
Gösta and Ellen were well-known as very sociable people who enjoyed entertaining guests.

I am so sad that Gosta has left us after a very long, healthy and interesting life. So many wonderful moments together with Ellen and Gosta and they will be missed by many Swedes and other friends.

We are so sad to hear that Gosta passed away. We have many wonderful memories from our dancing days with the Scandinavian Dancers where Gosta took an active part in promoting and guiding the group.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember him well from my days at Flakt Canada. He was a lovely man.

So sad to hear about Gostas parting. I drove Gosta to the Swedish Embassy before Christmas last year to attend the Lucia celebration. He seemed in good health then. Your parents had a long happy life together and we enjoyed having Ellen in the Swedish Bookclub.
