Growing up in Arlington Forest, I clearly remember the friendship my Mom and Dad had with Greg's beautiful Mom and Dad, Jeanne and Nick Larocca, and their children John, Greg, and Alice. The Family was a blessing to us all! Praise God that Greg is absent from the body and now present with His Lord & Saviour Jesus (2 Corinthians 5,8)!

I lost track and haven't seen you in years. I have tons of memories from all the good times we had at St Thomas More and Wakefield High. I have missed you all these years and now I'll miss you forever. Rest in peace, my friend.

I was very sad to here about Greg. I recall many years ago in Arlington Forest all the good times we had playing sports together even though I could not come close to Greg's ability in any sport. We all enjoyed growing up together. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with all the family members at this difficult time.

With deepest sympathy, Mike Motley

Greg LaRocca is going to be impossible to replace as a dependable golfing partner/opponent and leader of our winter time bowling fun. I've been around Greg for about 7 years and loved his competitive spirit even when we were on the opposite side of the match or the argument. We're all going to miss pulling into the parking lot at SVGC and not seeing LaRocca's 2DNPRS license plate waiting for us. Godspeed Greg LaRocca you were one of a kind....

It was such a pleasure to get to know Greg and his devoted family during his time with us at the CLC. His humor and his heart kept us smiling and inspired. My thoughts are with your family in this difficult time. May all the wonderful memories you have bring you peace. I hope you can all have a lobster dinner and toast this wonderful man!

I went to Wakefield High School with Greg and had lost track of him for many years. However as fate would have it I ran into him at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club several years ago. When I ran into him our conversation picked up like we last saw each other the day before not like it had been over 30 years since we had seen each other.I looked forward to those Saturday and Sunday meetings at the course when we would laugh and talk about the good old days when we were young kids in high school. Greg was the same now as he was when we were kids. I will sorely miss those Saturdays and Sundays, so when I pull into the parking lot I will always look to the heavens and say good morning to him and hope someday we will be together again and play the big course in the sky. Rest in Peace my FRIEND.
