a friend.He was a wonderful husband dad

Brad and I would have parties and all of our friends would enjoy talking to him and listening to his funny jokes.Harvey had a way of lighting up the room.

God till we all meet again!!!!

This was a man who always put his family first. He looked out for everyone, from his wife, kids, grandchildren and close relatives and friends. No one will truly understand what kind of a man my father was except those who were around him and saw what kind of a provider and good person he was. He was self-made, no one gave him one penny, he earned everything himself and for that I will always admire and respect. I just feel so bad for my Dad that he couldnt enjoy all the things he worked so hard for his whole life. I will always have a void in my heart Dad and will never stop telling my kids what you meant to me as a father and the type of person you were. I love you very much and I know I will see you one day in Heaven. Your Son, Brad

Dear Marie and Family,

I only met Harvey a few times but had the good fortune to speak with him often over the phone. We shared a common bond as former business owners at Nova and I always really respected and appreciated Harvey. I felt we became closer when my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and he was such a tremendous inspiration. He was always positive! He always believed he was just at another bump in the road. I wish I lived closer and could have spent more time with him and will keep Harvey and the rest of the family in my prayers.

I wish to xtend my condolences to all of Harvey;s family on his passing away. Never actually knew him well. But do remember him from a long time ago on Revere Beach. He was a funny guy who I thought at the time was very smart. And it turned out that he was very smart. I am sure that he is resting in heaven now.Billy Bell from www.loganairportvaletparking.com

Dear Marie and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Harvey's passing. Even though we lost touch, I often think of how Years ago you, Marie, were engaged to Harvey. When you came to my Grandma Angie's house in Chelsea, I would sit and think to myself how Beautiful you were and engaged to such a handsome man. I wanted to follow in your footsteps...Then I actually did, I married Stephen Libman. (yes, a jewish boy. which was such a no no back then) . I miss you my beautiful cuz..So much time has gone by and so much has happened .Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Hold on to your beautiful memories to bring you comfort.
Love you,

Harvey's son Brad worked with all us here at Boch Honda, and Brad was always speaking with admiration about his Dad. I know he'll miss him dearly, but I also know he has great memories about his father. Billy Almon, Woods Hole, Massachusetts.

Harvey Swartz was a self-made man who came up the hard way and was able to achieve accomplishments far beyond what the average man could do. I remember when Harvey moved to Mansfield and took us on a tour of his new home. Harvey had an appreciation for fine craftsmanship and the finer things in life and he deserved all that he was able to attain. He quipped to me, "not bad for a boy from Roxbury, eh Jay?" I replied, "you did good man, you did good." "You know Jay, despite all the material things I have Harvey said, the most important things are my wife and children." Harvey loved his family and as long as there is someone to remember, no one ever dies.
