Helen Kiser Obituary
Age 88, on Saturday, February 28, 2009, of Penn Hills; beloved wife of the late David; loving mother of David (Marcey), John and Mark (Kathy); grandmother of 6; great-grandmother of 6; great-great-grandmother of 1; sister of Frank (Pat) Shusta; also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Plum AARP, Golden Ages and Red Hat Society. She was very active at the Plum Senior Citizen Center, as well as Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. Friends received Wed. 7-9pm and Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9pm at SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES, LTD. /Roth Chapel, 7450 Saltsburg Rd. (at Universal Road), Penn Hills. Services Friday, 11am at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, where family suggests donations be made to 2931 Universal Rd., Pgh., PA 15235.

David, John, and Mark and your families, I wanted to extend my sympathies. Your mom and your dad were very special neighbors to me when I lived next door during the 70's and half of the 80's. I have such fond memories of Helen and Dave too being extra parents and grandparents to me, hubby and my kids. I really missed them when I moved away. I thought of them often. May all of you have some peace in the knowledge that you mom and you dad touched many lives.

My heartfelt sympathy. Talked to Helen last week when she got to Fla. and we were going to try to get together.
Have many memories of the good times we shared. Will certainly miss my dearest friend.
