Ian James Currie

CURRIE, IAN JAMES Ian was born in Regina on February 17, 1977 and passed away unexpectedly on March 18, 2009 with his loving family and close friends at his side. He is survived by his parents Douglas and Barbara; sister Maureen (Corwin); brother Alan (Amanda); nephew Tieran; grandparents George and Doris Hearn and Shirley Currie; and an extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather Erle Currie. Despite his challenges, Ian touched the lives of all that came in contact with him and he lived the life that he was given to the fullest. His strength, humour and sense of adventure will never be forgotten. Ian made his home at Chip and Dale Housing where he made many close friendships. Along with his family, he will be fondly remembered by the residents and staff of Chip and Dale Housing, Cosmopolitan Learning Centre and his many caregivers. The family would also like to thank Dr. S Bester for his exceptional medical care of Ian over the years and the Pasqua ICU for their respectful and compassionate care of Ian, his family and friends.
