IOLA VICTORIA COLLINS, 94, a native Dallasite, passed away in Houston on Monday Dec.11 at the Hamptons, a retirement community. Born in Dallas on June 1912 to Myrtle Fuller and John McGaugh, she was pre-deceased in 1991 by her husband John C. Collins of Houston, and earlier by her beloved mother and step-fathers William Theodore Light of Dallas and Jack Matthews of Pottsboro. Also pre-deceased by her brothers M. Russ Light and Otto Light, and by her son Kenneth Fewell, and her nephew Paul L. Light, all of Dallas. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Fewell of Dallas, her nephew Russell J. Light of Fort Worth, several great-nieces and nephews, a granddaughter Cathy Fewell of Dallas, a step-son John R. Collins of Houston, and a step-grandson Christopher Collins. A Graveside Service will be held in Houston at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18 at Woodlawn Cemetery 1101 Antoine, 713-682-3663. Funeral services provided by Legacy Memorial Funeral Home, 281-759-9900.
