Irene A. Warren

Irene A., 86, passed away on Feb.18, 2002, in OKC. She was born March 7, 1915, in Davis, Okla. to Charles Wesley & Lillie Short. Growing up in Davis, OK, she graduated from Davis High School & married Lee Roy Warren in 1936. Later, the Warrens moved to OKC where they were faithful members of SW Free Will Baptist Church. Irene served as Sunday School secretary for 30 yrs. During her working years, she worked for C.R. Anthony Co. for 20 years. Preceded in death by her parents, and husband Lee Roy. Survived by a daughter, Jean Lewis & her husband Billy of Norman; grandsons, Terry Lewis & his wife Gina; Rob Lewis & his wife Tonya; also, great grandchildren, Ryan; Brandon; Tegan & Airis. She is also survived by a host of beloved nieces & nephews who considered 'Aunt Irene' a very special lady. She will always be remembered by her family & friends for her loving heart & sweet, gentle smile. To know her was to love her. She will be greatly missed. Services will be 11:00 AM February 21, 2002, officiating will be Rev. Robert Sherry. Committal will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Davis, Okla. at 3:00 PM February 21, 2002. VONDEL L.
