JACK LEACH Obituary

JACK LEACH 1922 - 2013 Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Veterans Residence in Toronto on October 9. Born in Leeds, England, Jack immigrated to Windsor as a young boy. He attended Sandwich Collegiate, and was a Spitfire pilot in #417 (City of Windsor) Squadron during WW2. He subsequently served as a pilot in the RCAF for twenty-five years and attained the rank of Flight Lieutenant. After leaving the RCAF Jack worked in Windsor for the Ministry of Health for many years before retirement. Survived by wife Joan Leach (Deneau), sons Mark and Tim, daughters-in-law Elda Del Bel Belluz and Tammy Laframboise, and grandchildren Brendan, Andrew, Michael, Paige, Tristan.

Jack was a man worth knowing - he will be missed.
