In memory of Jacque
Worked with Jacque as part of the subset of "can do" Canadian team of aerospace engineers, in Ste Anne de Bellevue, QC, Ottawa, ON and Brampton, ON.
Of the several contributions of these teams, one that needs mention is the Canadarm-2 Cameras, for which Jacque had the role of "living in a hotel room in California" conducting biz with then OCA with all the ITAR constraints - to complete the integration, test and delivery of these flight cameras and delver them to be mounted on the Canadarm-2 that was ready in waiting at Cape Canaveral, FL for these cameras - almost missing the launch date!
The mini-team (MRB) worked on challenges after challenges, trying to work with pressing deadlines with needed functionalities preserved. Jacque had the role of being the MDA-Customer spokesperson with subcontractor OCA, hand-carrying travel of the cameras on flights, etc. and negotiating the MRB decisions with us CSA representatives of (primarily late Eric White of Engineering and me, representing S&MA),

Each time the Canadarm-2 cameras are used by astronauts to capture the majesty of space, and/or aid in the intricacies of space assembly/investigative tasks, Jacque's contributions in making this happen should be a humble reminder to his family and us friends/ex-team mates.

May Jacque's soul rest in Eternal peace, Amen.

I worked with Jacque for many years at Spar/MDA. He was a quiet hard worker and I really enjoyed working with him on the same team. My last conversation with Jacque was in March 2021 and I am very surprised and saddened by his passing. Hugs... Linda

Jacque and I were good friends while at MDA, integrating and testing the CanadArm2. In fact we even lived in the same apartment building in Brampton ON, and would sometimes commute together to work. I remember some very good times with Jaque, always ready for a challenge or a celebration.We worked together on the Inergration and Test team for the Canada Arms and thus had many of each.Sorry for your loss, hang on to the good memories,.
