As I look back at our days together at Puyallup Kmart. I think of Jim as the amazing man and leader he was. Always working so hard and loving every minute of it. Always showing how much he cared about each and every one of us. He was our teacher, protector, leader, and friend. When he talked about his family his eyes would light up and you could see they were the center of his world. I will always remember how he would walk fast through the apparel depts. and say over his shoulder, "are you done yet," with a big smile on his face. You are so missed Jim and heaven has gained a mighty warrior.

Jim was the true love of my sister's life and she was his! And, how do I know this? He put up with her for 18 years...ha ha...and he would have for another 18 if he could have! Jim loved his family above and more than anything else! This was and is his legacy. Jim will continue to love and watch over, like the warrior he was, Michelle, Betheny, Miranda, Jessica, Brian and Connor for true love never dies!

When I think of Jim, my heart is so HAPPY. He was one of a kind. Amazing and so loving to each person in his life. Even a stranger would feel the same love. He not only smiled with his lips, but with every part of himself. Jim was an amazing Manager to work with. Always a kind word even if something didn't go right. He was the hardest worker I have ever met. No matter how sick he was always there working and with a smile. Jim, Thank You for BLESSING me and teaching me so much. I know we will meet again in Heaven. Love you and your family. Diane Dietzman

When I think of Jim I think of a man that gave his all in everything he did, his family and work. I loved working with Jim because he treated you as an equal with dignity and respect. Jim was a leader in everything he did and when he gave you a job, you wanted to do the best job ever because he believed in you. You wanted to make him proud because Jim was proud of everything he did, no one could stop Jim when he was on a "mission"! My favorite memories of Jim is I would work in the mornings before the store opened and I was busy getting the job done, here Jim would walk around the corner and say morning and it didn't matter that I heard him coming, I would jump and scream! It didn't matter where I was, Jim had that affect on me! There were a couple times that I would scare him when I screamed and all he could do is smile! For his 50 birthday I dressed up as the reaper, never letting on it was me, he kept saying Michelle is that you?! To this day I don't know if he ever knew it was me or Michelle! Jim you were the most awesome boss I could ever work for and you were family. I will truly miss you.. God speed... <3 Janice
