I had the pleasure of working with Jim over several decades, first as a reporter and then as a fellow utility representative. I trusted him, admired him and always thought so highly of him. We who knew Jim share your loss.

Jim was one of the most professional, polite and trustworthy people I had ever worked with. He had a tremendous amount of integrity and brought out the best in people. My condolences to his family.

Judy,
I just learned of Jim's passing and wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed knowing him and hopefully being a friend of his. He was one of the nicest men I've ever known and I will always remember the support that he gave me when I worked at the Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce.
I guess the thing that I'll remember most was his smile. He could light up a room with it.
My sincerest condolences to you as you deal with your loss of a wonderful husband.

To the family of James Dennis,
I was so saddened to learn of Jim's passing in the Columbus paper today. We were close friends from the day I first stepped onto Ohio Wesleyan campus in 1953. Please accept my condolences to his family and friends and know that I will always cherish the memories I have of a very exceptional man and friend. Please let us know what organization that we could contribute to in Dennis' name.
