Connie,Guy,Tommy,Kathy&Kids,
My heart still aches for you, for all of us who loved Jimmy so much. I struggle each day to try to understand why he had to go...His soul was such a beautiful presence here. It seems so unfair, I can only hope and pray that he was taken because he has now found the ultimate of peace and happiness....but it still does not seem to subside the pain for those of us left behind. I think of each of you every single day and will continue to keep you in my prayers.
All my love, Lisa

I did not learn of Jimmy's passing until the night before Kim's service. I am so sorry that I was not there to offer my support to all of you. Jimmy was truly one of a kind. He was always easy to talk to and could help you to see the good in things. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Connie, Guy, Tommy and Kathy:
I wanted to wait till I got home to write this - so many people expressing their sympathies and love to all of you and for Jimmy. We will all miss him so very much. He always made me laugh - sometimes he would just do that snicker and his face would light up with a big smile! It was obvious to me from all the people and flowers that Jimmy was loved and respected a great deal - as much as his whole family was. I know that I will treasure knowing him and being a member of his family. We love you all and will keep you in our prayers. I'm sure Mom will watch over Jimmy.

There are no words that I can say that will ease the pain. I am so thankful for the time that I spent with Jimmy on that Thursday evening. He said alot of things that I didn't think about at the time but now I cherish. I will hold his hug and beautiful smile in my heart forever. There are so many things I can say about Jimmy...he was a wonderful friend, a humble person, always willing to listen, and always there. My boys will never forget the times they had with Jimmy. I will not say Good bye but only that I will see you again one day. I love you Jimmy, I love you all and will always be here for you.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Jim was not only a good friend but he was my "buddy". He would always be there to listen if I had a problem and always have a hug and a smile ready when I needed it. Appalachian Detention Center is a sad place today , but I feel Jim is in Heaven brightening up the place with his smile and asking how much water they use in a day and if it is "good quality".

Jimmy was one of the first friends I had in elementary school, and I have very fond memories of those days. Our friendship continued through high school and as co-workers at Heck’s as young men. We had since lost touch over the years, but we were able to reconnect and talk at length last fall in Bristol. I’m very thankful for that night, and for seeing Jimmy again. He was a good, kind-hearted man, and he truly had a smile that went from ear to ear. We will miss you Jimmy. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Tignor family.

I have only known Jimmy for a couple of years, but I can tell you that he was one of the nicest, kindest and most polite men that I have ever met. He lived life to the fullest. We enjoyed riding motorcycles together on the weekends. Jimmy had a smile that would brighten up even the darkest days. I always tried to make him laugh because I loved to see that smile.... He will be GREATLY missed by all of his friends and fellow bike riders. There will never be another "JIMMY". If there is anything that I can do please do not hesitate to call.
