He was my friend

He was a good guy. One time at Action towing he asked my wife if she would go down the road & pick up some burgers, he handed her a hand full of $20 bills they were waded up in ball. When she returned with the burgers she handed him his change, pulled the money back & rolled it up back into a ball. He really thought that it was funny. He was my friend

James sure was a Loving kind person always humble and kind we will cherish all the wonderful memories from purchasing cars for our wrecking yard , crushing cars, spending time together at KCRP raceway , to all the wonderful lunches we had together you will always have a special place in our hearts Love you dearly James... James was a real, kind & caring man. He had done for us as he had for everyone he knew. He will be greatly missed by both of us.

In a person's life you will have many Acquaintances but you will only have as many good real friends as you have fingers on one hand. James you were one of those people. I may not have seen you for a few months in our busy crazy lives but when I did see you it felt like we had been together yesterday. I will miss you friend!! Until we meet again!!

I met James over 30 years ago when I moved back to Bakersfield. He helped an underpaid working women get her cat fixed and saved me a lot of money. He did the same for my friend Pam and they rest is history as they had a great life together for the past 30 years. From lending a helping hand, to being a friend and then someone I considered family. I will miss you. You will not be forgotten.

James was my rock! He was always trying to help everyone.He was a very loving and generous man and i loved him very much! Even at the end he asked if i needed anything .All i needed was for him not to be in pain and in a better place .He will be missed more than you can imagine! He touched many hearts. i love you brother! Rest in peace !!!

James was a true racer and a great man. Anytime you saw James at the race track (or anywhere else) he had that grin and usually something funny to say. James helped a lot of us and encouraged us to enjoy asphalt circle track racing. Thanks James for your support and friendship. RIP.
