Janet M. Drake

My sincerest sympathy to Janet's family. Janet was my first supervisor when I started here at DHS and her guidance and support were very helpful to me. She was a very caring person, a true professional and I miss her. I hope that in time some of your pain will be eased and that you can find comfort in her loving memory.

I would like to offer my sincere condolences for your loss.

Janet was my first supervisor here at the state and I was immediately struck by how caring of a person she was. She was always willing to offer her support and advice during my transition from the private sector, helping me navigate job related and personnel specific issues. She was a great mentor and a friend with whom I enjoyed discussing alternative theories of “Lost”.

It was a pleasure to have known her. She will be missed.

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Janet. Besides being a warm and caring person Janet was a true professional when it came to doing her job. We worked on numerous projects together and she always got it right. She was a wonderful person and I will miss her.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

Please accept my condolences for the loss of Janet. I am very sorry to hear of her passing. Janet and I worked together for 25 years and I was privileged to become a member of the notorious “PPAer’s” club that Janet had co-founded at OIS. We had a lot of good times working together, laughing and talking about our families, her kitty’s Ollie and Sparky, vacations we had taken and of course watching Survivor on Thursday nights. Janet was a warm and very sincere person that loved her family dearly and who was very passionate about wildlife. Janet will be sadly missed.
