John, I'm sad to not see you two out walking past our house. I'll especially miss my talks with Jeannie out in our front yards, discussing receipes, literature, politics and religion. She was a good friend to me.
Shane and I know that you have so many fond memories of your long love affair with Jeannie and hope they will give you comfort.
Sincerely, Karen Elliott

Our sincere condolences to John and his family. We were together too seldom but each meeting was full of Jeanie's joy and laughter, good conversation and food. Bohdan and Joanne Celewycz

I was surprised and deeply saddened to hear of Jeanie's passing. She was such a lovely and loving woman and was a source of strength and positivity to me after my parents' passing. Her photo album is a tribute to a wonderful life well-spent with loving friends and family. She will be missed.

Dear JDMs
We all miss Jeanie and know she will be missed. We feel sad--Wyatt
We feel extremely depressed-- Ben
I feel very sad-- Zoe
She was a truly kind and generous and strong person-- a woman of valor as Grandma Marks would say. And we all will miss her. We wish you John and all our/her family much love. You are in all our thoughts.

To John and Family,
Our sincere condolences on Jeanie's passing.
We know that you will miss her terribly and her absence will leave such a gap in your large and close family.
We were privileged to meet Jeanie and John in Tibet and be with them both at Mt Everest and so know that they both enjoyed it so much.
It has been our good fortune to have been able to keep in touch since that special time.
We are thinking of you.

I have kept in touch with Jennifer over the years since we've been best friends since grade school. It is with much sadness that I write you today after seeing Mrs. Marks in the SL Tribune. She was a very nice lady and will be missed by all. Please accept my condolences
