Jeffery Edmond Simmons

Jeffery Edmond Simmons, 52, born on August 31, 1967 in Houston, TX went to be with his Lord Jesus on December 30, 2019 after a year-long battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, at home in Kingwood, TX with his wife, Elizabeth by his side. Jeff grew up in Spring, TX and graduated in 1985 from McCullough High School in The Woodlands. He enjoyed exploring the woods, hunting, camping, riding motorcycles and hanging out with his brother, Frank. Together they enjoyed spending summers in Arkansas with their cousins. After high school, Jeff began a 34 year career with Sherwin Williams Paint Company, where he was currently employed.

His mother Dianne introduced Jeff and his brother to the Texas Renaissance Festival, which he attended many times over the years.

Jeff was married to Mary Milton in 1994 and together, they have a son, Logan Alexander. Jeff was active with Logan in Boy Scouts and enjoyed spending time with him.

Jeff is preceded in death by his mother, Dianne Simmons, and by his father, Gerald Simmons.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Watkins Simmons, Kingwood, Texas; son Logan Alexander Simmons, of Kingwood; brother, Frank Simmons and his wife, Amy of Polo, Illinois. Stepdaughters: Amanda Kovar, and husband, Matt, Stephanie Coleman and Nicole Watkins. He was also "Pop Pop" to step-grandchildren: Patrick and Zoe Kovar; Garrett, Darrell and Elliott Coleman; and Kendall Lockett; and numerous friends, coworkers and relatives.
