Jeffrey Sather Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 29, 2024.
Jeffrey Allan Sather, age 58, of Milwaukee, WI, passed unexpectedly on Sunday, March 24, 2024. Jeff was born in Janesville, WI, to parents Elwyn "Pete" and Sharon Sather.

Jeff was a kind and compassionate man who enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. A 1984 graduate of Lakeside Lutheran High School in Lake Mills, he loved being a Forever Warrior. He enjoyed watching the Packers, Badgers, Bucks, and Brewers, and over the years, officiating high school football games. Family was important to Jeff, and he hosted a reunion for extended family annually.

One of the things Jeff enjoyed most was riding his motorcycle. As a Milwaukee Police Officer for 20 years, he got to do this as a member of his beloved Motor Unit. He was looking forward to many more rides in retirement with friends.

Jeff is survived by his father, Pete (Karen), brothers, Larry (Janet), and Steve (Amy), and nephew, Ty; special aunts, uncles, and cousins across the country; many great friends; and his MPD family.

Jeff is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon; maternal grandparents, Oscar and Elsie Baillargeron; and paternal grandparents, Orin and Emma Sather.

Jeff was loved by many and will be missed greatly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Lakeside Lutheran High School, 231 Woodland Beach Rd, Lake Mills, WI 53551 (online at: llhs.org), or the MPA Fallen Heroes Inc. fund, 6310 W. Bluemound Rd, Milwaukee, WI 53213 (online at: milwaukeefallenheroesinc.com).
