While the loss of a loved one is never easy, even when anticipated, it is most certainly the hardest when they are taken from us too soon. Your recent loss of your beloved Jessica whose tragic death at such a youthful age is definitely in the category of those hard losses.

I was devastated by this news. I have been Jessica's physician since 2013 and had the privilege watching her grow from a teenager/college student at BU to an amazing capable young woman who I admired and saw some of myself in regarding her love of the sciences.

I apologize I will not be able to attend the calling hours over the weekend, but your family is in my thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.
