Joan Purser Stacy

Mrs. Stacy led a beautiful and full life. She was the quintessential example of a Mother that taught Love, Grace and Strong Family Values everyday of her life through example by the way she lived her life and led her family. She will be missed, remembered and LOVED.

Your mother was a great lady and a devoted mother to you all along with her church family. She and your dad always had a kind word for me during my years growing up. I been privileged to have known them.

Joan was a wonderful lady. She was my neighbor when our boys were little and I have special memories of those times with her. Our hearts go out to her family.

Joan was such a special lady to my son and I for years at the UNC Football games. She and Horace sat beside us in the Pope Box for many years. She watched my son grow up and become a student at UNC and then become a Teacher, of which she was so proud. Two very special folks, that we were blessed to get to know. Our love to the family.
