JOHN DOYLE Obituary
1930-2014
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the age of 84 after a long struggle with pulmonary issues at the Ste- Agathe Hospital. Beloved husband of 60 years to Louise Lamarre. Dear father of Anne (David Outhwaite) and the late Danielle; grandfather to Emilie (Mitchell Jones), Melanie and the late Stephanie. He is survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Harold was a long-time employee of AAF of Canada Ltd. The family will receive condolences on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 1 p.m. followed by a Service at 2:00 p.m. in the church of Saint- Sauveur where he was a long-time resident. Donations in his memory may be made to the La Fondation médicale des Laurentides et des Pays-d'en-Haut for the hospital in Ste-Agathe where Harold received the very best of care.

Well Uncle Harold, you sure were a good-looking son-of-a-gun, and I don't just say that because you and I, and my Father, and my Uncle Pat all look so darn alike. I know that statement would have elicited a quick wry grin and possibly even a wink from a man who, like his brothers, had a very clever and ironic wit. Aunt Louise, cousin Anne, and all of the rest of the family, my sincere condolences.
