Kathy and family,
My deepest condolences. I had no knowledge of John's illness so was shocked at this news. John was one of my favorite clients through my insurance career. I always loved that he maintained his love of Greene County and Waynesburg after all the years out of the area. He could always brighten my day with his laugh.

My husband grew up with John in Waynesburg, many good memories.
Just saw John at his office this past year. We wish we would have known all he was going through, we were shocked and are deeply saddened to hear this news. We will always remember his humor and laugh. May God carry you through this difficult time. Our sincere condolences.

John was a great tax attorney, a friend and a fellow Case Western Reserve Law graduate. I had several occasions over the years to work together with John on certain transactions and I always enjoyed his approach and his expertise. I will also miss our "not often" enough lunches at Ruth's Chris. My thoughts and prayers will always be with his family who I never had the honor of meeting but feel that I know having known John for many years.

As a former President of the Pittsburgh Tax Club, I was happy to have John as a member and later President. He was always a contributor. It is sad to see his early departure. I wish his family all the best during these trying days.

To John's Family - I'm saddened to learn of John's passing - my deepest sympathies to you all. I was one of John's students in the RMC (now RMU) MST program - taking the partnership courses he taught. He was so very bright, sharing, encouraging - he wanted us each to learn and apply that learning. He was one of my favorites. The Tax Community in Pittsburgh is very small, so I would see John upon occasion - and so enjoyed the exchanges. He will be remembered and missed by many - A good man, leaving such a positive mark on the lives of many in Pittsburgh.
