John Ruddock Obituary
John is survived by his sons, John Ruddock, Jr. (Kathleen) of Victoria, David Ruddock (Barbara) of Pearland; brother, Billy W. Ruddock (Michael Ann) of Victoria; sister, Sidney Broussard (Norris) of Victoria; 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of over 50 years, Lorene Kraatz Ruddock.
Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.
A funeral service will be Friday, August 26, 2016 at 10 am at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with burial immediately following at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

I'll never forget stopping by Ruddock's to get sodas and ice cream as a kid or shooting a game of pool with my cousins on the old pool table in the back of the store and always seeing Mr. Ruddock smile as he greeted us. He was always happy to see anyone who stopped in. He will be greatly missed and the store will never be the same without him. Rest easy, Mr. Ruddock, and thanks for the memories. Your store will always be a great part of my childhood memories. My condolences to his family during this difficult time.
