In memory of
Katie Smith
February 16, 2025
Dad, I miss you so much. I think about you when I´m driving a lot or alone. I just talked to aunt Diane on the phone for almost 2 hours. Grandma Marie sent some photos to pick from so we can honor you on our wedding day. She described the day when you baked me a cake and threw me a party at her house and when my mom was working. Reading all of these memories people have written reassures me you were in fact the best dad I remember even being so young when you left . I sure Wish I could have known you as an adult. I know you´ll be walking on the other side of me as I walk down the aisle.. Thanks for keeping us safe. Love you always

Joseph,
You have inspired me beyond comprehension Joseph. You are truly a great Man. How proud I am to have you as my Brother and So, So proud of who you are and will continue to be. A legacy of precious gifts you gave freely to everyone in your life and even after you had no more earthly gifts to give yet you still gave of yourself. I want to tell the World about you and that You Were Here and I will! I promise YOU that! You definitely made your Mark. So many memories will comfort Us. I will never forget our last trip to Leavenworth You and I got on the same sled and went down the hill into a clearing, so many stars in the sky that night. We laughed so hard You said,"I love you Sis" and I said,"I love you too!" You are and will always be Michael & My Magic #3 Our precious little brother. I will talk to You often in my prayers and visit You in my dreams. JOSEPH, "I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER & ALWAYS", Your Big Sis Di

Joseph,
I thank God for you. You were a good son, so helpful and thoughtful. I look for you everywhere, your smile, your laugh, and your love. I would go crazy if I did not believe that I will see you again some day. Sometimes it is the only thing that holds me together. I will continue to talk to you, smile at precious memories, and be greatful for the gift of being your mom.
See You Sweetie

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Joseph's friends and our family. Joseph tried to get me to call him "Joe" for so long but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. He will always be my little cousin Joseph and not the grown man,Joe that he really was. He will be greatly missed.

Joe was counted as a son in my family. His easy smile, his easy manner, his love of life makes his leaving us very sad.He was always quick to be helpful and his gentleness with all the children in his life, these qualities in a man in this world make a invaluable loss with his passing. Dear Mr.,Mrs.Farber thank you for Joe ,his life made ours richer. Our Heavenly Father will receive him with joy.

To the family of Joseph Farber, growing up you were a 2nd family to me. I am so saddened to hear of your loss. I have known Joseph since he was just a little guy. Dianne and I were great friends and have lost contact with each other in the past several years. I remember so many things about Joseph. He was such a funny kid. I remember the last time I saw him I was visiting Tacoma after being away for a long time and I was at a club, he came up behind me and gave me a hug, I had to look twice because he was a man...I told him he wasn't old enough to be in that club and he started laughing and told me how old he was and I yelled at him for making me feel so old. Gosh...I am so sorry for your loss. John, Marie, Dianne, Michael...my prayers are with you all. God Bless!!

This is how I'll remember Joe: New Year's Eve, 1994. The whole island was a party. The clubhouse was open. Joe and I sang Sade's "No Ordinary Love" on the Karaoke machine. The boys had a good night just being together. The picture is Mike, David, Cameron, Matt, Joe, Jay Heff, John, and Ryan. Every picture I have of Joe at least one of these guys is in it. He was a great friend that had become a great man and will be greatly missed.

Dianne and the Farber family, I'am so sorry about your loss. Although he probably wouldnt have remembered me...I remember him. I met Joseph a couple years after Dianne and I had graduated and were working together lifeguarding. And how he knew what buttons he could/could not push of Diannes. Dianne, words cant express how I feel for you today. I lost my nephew a year and a half ago and still hurt alot. I will leave my e-mail address. If you need to talk...let me know. Living in Sumner now also.
