As a friend of your son Jim's and knowing what a good person he is, you must have been a really terrific man. May God welcome you with open arms.

I knew and loved him for 50 years. Obviously, words can't tell what we gave each other during that time. "Never hit a man when he's down." If he hadn't sung around the house I'd never have been a singer. During my darkest moments he was always there to give me a simple solution to my problem. He was never confused. If Joe couldn't fix it, it couldn't be fixed. I'll always be looking for him sitting on the stoop to give me his guidace and approval. God bless him. I don't fear death beacause I know he'll be there waiting for me. I came from him. This came from me.
