Joseph Lewis Obituary
Joseph is survived by his wife of 54 years Barbara Ann; his children Moriah Lewis and husband Kenneth C. Wallace III of San Francisco, California, Joshua Lewis and wife Kristen of Leawood, Kansas; and his six grandchildren Christian, William, Evelyn, Holden, Quinn and Brooks. He was preceded in death by his sister Patricia Ann Dimling and grandson Wyatt Carroll Lewis-Wallace.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joseph's name to Fisher House Foundation (www.fisherhouse.org) or March of Dimes (www.marchofdimes.org). My name is Shanon, I worked at a law office that handled cases for YF in Dallas and spoke often with Joe, saw him occasionally. When we no longer worked with YF we still kept in contact with Joe, although not as much as we should have. Joe would send pictures of his grandchildren, he was so proud of them and his family! I know his memories will be a huge comfort to you. I just wanted you to know how we felt about him.
