Judy was someone I admired and relied on. We first met in the late 70s when we were both in the Mall business. We remained friends for years until the inevitable separations of busy lives and families kept us only occasional friends. I used to call her Judy Barnez. I´ve missed her. I know she´s in a better place now.

I can remember printing the Home Builders newsletter each month and talking to Judy often. She was a pinnacle in the construction business. She should have a statue made. Rest in Peace Judy..

What a marvelous Legacy left by Judy in our Community. She inspired us and she motivated us to 'do better.' There are literally hundreds of present and past GRHBA members who can testify to her high energy motivation of all of us.
God bless Judy and all of her family.

I first met Judy in about 1980 when she was managing Eastbrook Mall. She was a great administrator of the mall and I had the privilege of trying to convince her to join the Home Builders Association. She will be remembered for her great work and her enduring and infectious positive attitude. Judy was a joy to work with she will be missed by her old friends at the Grand Rapids Home Builders Association.

Judy Barnes was a one of a kind woman. I am so blessed to have her as a friend and mentor. There is most definitely rejoicing in heaven...but for us still here...tears!

Thank you Judy for living life well for God´s glory and to bless all who knew you...

Judy was one special lady. She was such an inspiration to the Grand Rapids Home Builder Association and an encouragement to all. It was a pleasure serving with her on the board and on the Parade of Homes Committee. Our sympathy to the family for their loss but a celebration that she is now with a clear mind with loved ones in heaven. Bob and Nancy Grevenstuk

Our condolences to the Barnes family on the homegoing of Judy. We have so many good and fond memories of Judy and her leadership of the Grand Rapids Home Builders Assoc. She truly was a one of a kind. She spurred on and advocated for all the Home Builders and Associates in West MI! Judy and Stan together were a dynamic duo! We will always remember and admire them.
