Judy was such a bright sunshine to my days for the length of time I was able to spend in her company. I am deeply saddened to know of her passing, yet comforted by her faith in God.

Dear Leon & Family, I am so sorry for your loss. God gained a special Angel in Heaven when Judy arrived there. She will forever be looking down on all of her earth family. She always had a smile on her face & looked joyous. She was a friend to my Mom; Mom and I live in Ashton-Woods and have enjoyed knowing Judy and Leon. Keep her memories close to your heart and she will live forever in and through you.

Our family lived next door to the Magners for eight years and were privileged to have gotten to know them so well over that time. Judy was so kind.

There are no words of comfort that can fill the void in your hearts. May the constant love of caring friends soften your sadness. May cherished memories bring you moments of comfort. May lasting peace surround your grieving hearts. Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Leon, we will miss our annual Christmas dinners and after dinners jokes, that we shared over the years with you and Judy (and the rest of the group). Judy was a dear and wonderful woman whose caring and giving spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Please know that we share in your hour of bereavement and smile when we think of all the kindness that Judy showed to everyone that she met.
Love, Elaine and Nola Carter

I believe all the Magner's know how much we loved all of you. Bob and I had many laughs with Judy, some were even about Leon. Some of our best years were living in Austin across the street from Leon and Judy. I can still see Judy's big smile when I close my eyes --- Judy was a very special lady and we feel so lucky to have known her and proudly say she was a good friend. Peace be with all of you at this time and remember how many people truly loved her.

I'll always remember the kindness Judy showed me when I first joined the Georgetown Country Club. I didn't play golf very well and she could've cared less. You come to have fun and meet new friends she said. I always enjoyed playing with her.
I'm sorry for your loss. Judy is in a good place now!

Dear Magner Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Judy was an amazing woman who always did everything with grace and dignity. We, at the Retired Officers' Wives' Club, loved her so much, and we will miss her cheerful smile and positive attitude. Please know that you and yours are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Lantz, I love you and I we are here for you if you need anything. I am so glad your mother is with our Savior. And I am so blessed to know amazing you. I'm positive that it is because of your mom that you are so much of the great, caring, and delightful women who you are today.

My lifelong 68 year friendship with Leon Magner took on deeper value in 1956 when Leon married Judy Eastman. For 58 years now, it has been my honor to be recipient and observant of Judy Magner's Motherhood, dignity, class, loyalties, friendship, elegance, artistry, regard, humor, charity, tenderness, endurance and so many more enhancing and wonderful human characteristics. But of all distinctions within Judy Magner, Love, Love, and Love for God, Husband, Her Children and friends exuded and radiated from Judy constantly throughout her life.
God's Speed, Dear Friend. God's Speed is with You.

Mr. Magner, Dawnette, Debbie and Monty, and all your family, I am so sorry that your wife, mother and grandmother has left your embrace here on earth, but I know she is being embraced by The Lord and all who stood at the gate to welcome her, including my husband Mitch. I suspect Mitch is much more of a hugger now in heaven, and know that as He trusted Christ on May 13th, his smiles were more frequent. I always loved being with all of you whatever the occasion and you were in the top of my families to pray for even before Judy got sick. So there you will stay for as long as I have breath. I love you all and will lift you before the throne as you go through the days, and weeks to come. Much love, Mary Strew
