June has been my friend and hairdresser for more than 30 years. She was amazing in so many ways. I hope everyone never knew how enormously talented and intelligent she was. If she hadn't been so modest and humble, the whole world could have and should have known about her. If there were more people like June, we'd all be much happier. My deepest condolences to her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. This must be a terrible loss for them.

As probably most of us know, June was one in a gazillion.....even now, decades later, I remember and cherish the laughter we shared back in high school. She was my mom's hairdresser for many years and I'm so grateful for June's kindness--and for the humor and good heart that she brought into my mom's life during that time. Definitely a blessing in my life...RIP, my dear.....

June was the best. Sister. Mother. Grandmother. Aunt. Friend. She was small but mighty. A fierce defender of her family and friends. She had the best laugh and laughed often. You always knew exactly where you stood with her. I am so fortunate to have had her as a friend in my life. I will miss her always. She was a great example on how to live a full and meaningful life. She was my hero.
