Kaylene Rae Alexander, aged 30, passed away on July 21, 2024, in Grand Island, Nebraska. Born on September 22, 1993, in Hastings, Nebraska, she was a cherished member of her family and friends.

Kaylene was a devoted mother to her son, Jeremiah, who was her greatest joy and accomplishment. She embraced life with passion, engaging in activities such as disc golf, drawing, boating, swimming, and playing cornhole. Kaylene also had a love for horse riding and roping, which she enjoyed with her family in Oklahoma. Her artistic talents were evident in her drawings, capturing the beauty of her experiences and surroundings.

Throughout her life, Kaylene showed immense strength and determination, especially during her battle with metastatic breast cancer. Her courage and resilience were an inspiration to many, often more than she realized. She was a supportive figure, celebrating the achievements of her friends and family and taking pride in her role as an aunt to many nieces and nephews: Mateo, Jaxen, Parker of Grand Island NE, Tensley & Axtyn Alexander of Cordell OK, Maverick, Kase & WesLynn of Orlando OK.

Kaylene is survived by her father, Stan Alexander and his wife Tonya of Orlando, Oklahoma; her mother, Angela of Grand Island, Nebraska; her beloved son, Jeremiah of Grand Island, Nebraska; and her siblings, Trey Rodgers, Dalton Alexander and his wife Cherokee, Cody Alexander, Walker Alexander and his wife Keeley, Seth Alexander, Jake, Garrett, Rowdee, Ryatt, Jodee, Maggie, and Graycee Alexander. Her grandmothers, Laura Emde and Lavonne Wieser, Aunt Charlotte (Tim) Trahan of Morrison OK, Aunt Heather (Terry) Klieneweber of Nebraska City NE, Uncle Casey (Brenda) Connolly of Kingwood TX, Uncle Bobby John Alexander of Nebraska City NE, Aunt Ariela Espinoza, Aunt Alisha(Travis) Mayo, Aunt Tammy (Mike), Uncle David (Jessica) Emde, Uncle Larry "Sam"(Roxy) Emde all of Nebraska, along with numerous amazing cousins, will also hold dear their memories of Kaylene.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Larry Emde and Robert Alexander; grandmother, Darlene Connolly; great-grandparents, Andy and Lois Emde, Marian Wieser, and Norma Wampler; and her brother, Gus Alexander.

Kaylene was a graduate of Grand Island Sr High.

Memorial services for Kaylene will be held at All Faiths Funeral home in Grand Island NE at 2 pm on Friday July 26th 2024 and another with the lighting of lanterns at Pawnee Lake in Oklahoma at a private date, as arranged by the Alexander family. This gathering will celebrate her life and the light she brought into the lives of those who loved her.
