“To love someone deeply gives you strength. Being loved by someone deeply gives you courage.”
-Lao Tzu
Kroum was an amazing man, optimistic, loyal, sincere with a profound love of life. He made other people want to be better and in fact we are better for having had him in our lives. There are no words that could possibly describe the amazing person he was. Stephanie, our hearts go out to you at this difficult time. May you take peace in the cherished memories you have of the wonderful experiences that you shared. You truly are a courageous person, and your strength will help you through.

Dear Pavlov Family and Stephanie!
I got the news only today, and I regret that I didn't know that Kroum was sick.
I'm really, really sorry for your loss and God confort your hearts and bless his soul.
However, I thought about him, how full of life and energy he was and why not say it ?!
Kroum did a lot of good things for people and he was always ready to help and teach good stuff he knew. I will never forget the time he took to help me understand things that I was learning with in St. John Ambulance!
He encouraged myself to learn more and follow my dream. And in the volunteer duties we shared, we had always fun!
My deepest and sincere condolences!

Dear Kroum,
As your family and closest friends lay you to rest and say their last goodbyes, I wanted to share some of my first memories of you. We first met at the mini medical school at Ottawa U Montfort hospital to later cross path in our psychology class at Ottawa U. I didn't see him very much in class because he was too busy volunteering his time to help others and keeping the SERRES U of O division 1180 of SJA running. He recruited me and many others to this club. It was hard to say no to someone that had soo much enthusiasm, passion, dreams and ambition for this club and to help others. I followed in his footsteps as a volunteer with SJA for many years where I met many other wonderful people including your beautiful Stephanie. My deepest condolences Stephanie and the whole Pavlov family. Kroum will always be remembered in my mind as a man who loved to help others. May he rest in peace in the presence of our beloved God! No more pain. No more suffering. Peace!

Kroum, I will forever miss all the amazing times we had together, our hikes, equipment testing, camping, trips to Montreal, Mont Tremblant, and all the random adventures and time we spent together. You were one of the brightest, most generous and kind people I have ever known. Life will never be the same without you, and I wish I had spent more time with you when I still had the chance. I will always remember you, forever miss you, and am a much better person for having known you. You will always be in my heart and I will always love you.
Steph, Kris and I are here for you, day or night, if you need anything at all. We love you and are constantly thinking of you.

I don't know how to express my feelings in words at this moment. Kroum was one of my dearest friends and I enjoyed his awesome sense of humour, positive outlook on life, kindness to those around him, passion for saving lives and his love for the outdoors. Kroum, I won't ever forget the SJA duties we went on together. Remembering going to get bubble tea with you and Stephanie brings smile to my face. I still tie my scarf the way you suggested, which looks very chic. Thank you for being my friend and you will forever be remembered and greatly missed. You messaged me on Facebook at the end of November last year, asking me to call you because of something urgent. I called, left message in your voice mail and I emailed you, but you didn't get back to me... I regret for not having tried harder to get in touch when you wanted to talk to me... Steph, thank you for being there for Kroum. You two were the loveliest pair and you were always so happy together. My thoughts are with you and please accept my most sincere condolences and much much love.

Stephanie, I didn't know Kroum on a personal basis but always heard stories from your father about how he was such a great Guy and how happy he made you, and how he was so proud of the both of you, and you were just the perfect pair together. I was quite saddened by the news Friday. I do beleive that God must have had special plans for Kroum to bring him home so early. We send our deepest heartfelt condolenses, from our family to yours, and may God bless you, and send you his Angels to help you through this difficult time in your life.

My heart and prayers are with the family and to Stephanie, I only met Stephanie and Kroum a few times when they came to visit their good friend in college. He was bright and very passionate about his education in health care. I remember How funny I thought it was, when Kroum who only met me for a moment had the heart to teach me how to pronounce and I quote " It's St. John Ambulance not St. Johns Ambulance!!!!" lol To this day I always think of him when I see one drive by me on the highway. Steph; for the very short time we did spend time together with Nat, I am very blessed to have met both of you, and God only takes the best to be his angels, and Kroum is definitely one of them.

Stephanie, my thoughts today have all been with you. Nat and I have been reminiscing of old times that we have all had. Lots of Great Memories.

I love you sweetheart. You're truly a ray of sunshine. My brave knight in shining armour. My best friend. Words cannot express what you meant to me. I will truly cherish all of our adventures together as well as all the quiet evenings at home. No matter what we were doing, we were happy to be there together. I will always admire your passion for learning and perfecting new things. You had a positive outlook no matter what, and fought to the very end. I will miss your hugs and cuddles most of all. I will always love you and I will always be with you, as I know you will be with me. Every time I feel the wind, see the woods, feel the sun I will think of you. I love you sweetie.
