Larry Norman Obituary
He was the husband of Mrs. Cora Kathleen Murphy Norman, of the home, and the son of Mr. Thomas Junious "June" Norman and Mrs. Ann Gloria Fuller Norman, both deceased.
Mr. Norman was a shipping clerk supervisor for Carolina Biological Supply and a Jehovah's Witness with the Kingdom Hall Mebane, Burlington West.
In addition to his wife he is survived by sons, Larry Thomas Norman Jr. and Phillip Daniel Norman (special friend, Erika), both of Burlington; daughters, Laura Antoinette Norman (Anthony) of Burlington, Tasha LeAnn Norman (Rodney) of Mebane, N.C. and Monica LaDawn King (Stevie) of Elon, N.C.; brothers, Terry Jerome Norman of Burlington, N.C., William Junious Norman (Isoline) of Killeen, Texas; sisters, Sylvia Daye (Charlie) of Graham, N.C., Lottie Mae Thompson (William), Linda Faye Torain (Walter Earl), both of Sacramento, Calif., Mary Holt and Carolyn Warren, both of Burlington, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and host of other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Ray Norman and Ronald Warren (Poo); and one sister, Doretha Walker.
Public viewing will be Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 1 until 9 p.m. in the Roy Blackwell Chapel of Blackwell Funeral Home, Burlington. The wake will be from 7 until 8 p.m.
The funeral will be Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Roy Blackwell Chapel of Blackwell Funeral Home, Burlington, with the Rev. James Carter delivering the eulogy.
Services are entrusted to Blackwell Funeral Home, Burlington, N.C.

Larry was my student at Graham High School . He was a joy to teach and he loved the study of history. I have very special memories of how much he enjoyed doing map work as he began to explore his interest in the ancient world. I am very saddened by his loss.
