Leo Anton Brummer

LEO ANTON BRUMMER Born in Morrison County Minnesota on November 7, 1918. He passed away on January 9, 2008 at the age of 89 years and 2 months. He suffered from complications of hip surgery and severe dementia. Preceded in death by his wife Pauline, Parents, four sisters and four brothers. Mr. Brummer came to California from Alden, Minnesota in 1942-43 where he worked in the construction trades. He eventually became City Engineer for the City of Alhambra, California and retired from the City of Arcadia, California in 1978. He resided in Sun City, California. Mr. Brummer's final resting place will be at Calvary Cemetery in Los Angeles, California where his wife, mother and one sister are interned. Mr. Brummer is survived by many nieces and nephews and his good friend Joe Gomez. A funeral Mass will be on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 10:00am at St Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in Sun City, with internment at Calvary Cemetery.
