Leonard E. Fisher, 57, of Clyde, died Aug. 11, 2007, at home. He was born Feb. 16, 1950, in Washington, D.C., the son of Darrell E. and Ester Lynn Oakman Fisher. He was a graduate of Vale Tech in Blairsville and served in the U.S. Army. He was also a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Seward, the United Mine Workers of America and the Labors Union. He is survived by his mother, Estie Lynn Oakman Fisher, Franklin, W. Va.; his wife of 30 years, Christine LaMantia Fisher; daughter Nicholle Brendlinger and husband Lonnie, Robinson; son Joshua, Clyde; five grandchildren; siblings, Darrell, Harrisonburg, Va., Carol Headrick, Gettysburg, Bonnie, New Alexandria, Shelley Miller, Harrisonburg, Va., Cindy, Greensburg, Joanie, Cumberland, Md., and Karen Roberson and Tracy Guy, both of Franklin, W. Va.; father-and mother-in-law Dominic and Gloria LaMantia, Bolivar; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, and daughter Brenna Christine. Friends were received at the Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, Armagh. A funeral Mass was held Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, with the Rev. John Wilt officiating. Interment followed in Armagh Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Holy Family Catholic Church.
