TANTON, Leonard "Gummer" 62 years, of Tilbury, on Saturday, January 11, 2003. Beloved husband of Shirley (Groggins). Loving father of Blake Tanton and Patricia Robinson of Tilbury, Jackie-Lynn Edwards and Robert Brenton of Brampton, Jamie and Julie Tanton of Chatham, Norma Christine Tanton and Jeffery Bembridge of Chatham, and stepdaughter Sherry Mailhot of Tilbury. Dear father-in-law of Mike Edwards of Brampton. Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, & 3 stepgrandchildren. Predeceased by parents Robert and Fanny (Pollock) Tanton. Dearest brother of Robert and Shirley Tanton, Ann and Jim Wilson, and Norma McDowell, all of Chatham. Dear nephew of Donna Williams of London. Dearly missed by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Leonard was an employee of Meritor Auto-motive Canada Inc., Tilbury, for 30 years. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury, from 7-9 p.m. Monday, 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service at the funeral home Wednesday, January 15, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. Rev.
