Leslie R. "Dick" Osmond

Osmond, Leslie R. "Dick" Saginaw, Michigan Beloved husband, brother and friend passed away Friday, September 13, 2019 at Brian's House in Bay City. Age 68 years. Son of the late Wesley and Ella (Kapanka) Osmond, Dick was born September 6, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a 1970 graduate of Carrollton High School. He married Debra Paterson on January 25, 2002. She survives him. At the age of 7 Dick started working at Wesley's Bicycle shop, the family business, pulling a little red wagon picking up parts. He was president of the business becoming owner when his father passed away. Dick sold the business in June 2001, then was employed at Michigan Sugar in Bay City from 2001 until his retirement October 2016. Dick's passions were hunting, fishing and restoring boats, auto's and travel trailers. Surviving besides his wife Debra are three sister and one brother, Carol Stivers, Houston Texas; Beverly and Fred Hill, Grand Blanc; Dennis and Tina Osmond, Hemlock; Connie and Jack Traub, Hemlock; step-mother-in-law, Roseanne Paterson, Ypsilanti; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bob Heise, Bay City; Ken Heise and his fiance Tracy Schatzer, Bay City; Alan Paterson and his girlfriend Rachael McGrew, Ypsilanti; Robin and Roger Kukulski, Saginaw; Kim and Mark Wonsul, Canton; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Dick was preceded in death by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Barbara Heise and Jack Paterson and sister, Jeanette Osmond. Honoring Mr. Osmond's wishes cremation has taken place. A Visitation will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2019 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty).
