I'm very sad to hear this news. I have many happy memories of June (I always knew her as "June") She was best friends with my aunt Eleanor Start and the three of us spent many fun times at a cottage on Lake Huron. June was always around when I visited Windsor and sometimes she and Eleanor would come up to Toronto, or pass through on their way somewhere else (China, South Africa, England etc.) June could see the humorous side of things and was often quick to come up with a joke. She always remembered birthdays and occasions and sent cards. My husband, Paul Hirst and my daughter Rebecca (age 10) will miss her too.

It was always a pleasure to be with Lorna backstage at Windsor Light. Always a bright smile. She is missed.

Although I only knew Lorna for a short time, I thoroughly enjoyed our time together. She was a lovely lady who will always hold a special place in my heart.

I am so sorry to hear of Lorna's passing. She was a devoted member of Windsor Light Music Theatre (formerly Windsor Light Opera Association) and took her "jobs" very seriously. I was the lucky benefactor of her "dressing" skills for many shows. Lorna was a kind and giving soul with a smile and a kind word for all who knew her. She will be sorely missed by friends and family.
Ellen Starkiss.
