Aunt Lucy, you will forever be in my heart. You taught me how to make your pound cake and I still have the handwritten recipe you gave me. Everytime I make one you are with me. After I spent the summer with you and Uncle Mickey, I carried many memories with me and will treasure them always. You loved my family and most of all I knew you were proud of me. Rest in peace and all my thoughts, love and prayers to the family.

Dear Aunt Lucy was a loving aunt and I will share a few memories: Sunday afternoon dinners at Whitwood Road, noisy commotions in the kitchen and wonderful meals with her, Uncle Mickey and the kids at the big dining room table. Aunt Lucy was a good cook, and I have some of her handwritten cookie recipes, but in our family she was most famous for "Aunt Lucy's Corn" made with vacuum packed canned corn (you can't use the soggy stuff) spread in a pie plate, with cracker crumbs on top (make it better with Ritz), and pats of butter to melt down as it browns in the oven! If it was a holiday in our house the questions was: "Are we having Aunt Lucy's Corn"? She kept soda, returnable bottles, at the top of the basement stairs. I remember because I was walking past once and one exploded. Caught some shrapnel in the leg! When I visited her at Charles' house she was not very mobile, but she read the paper daily, and she had a sharp mind, and was a great conversationalist with her knowledge of current events. I'm sorry her capacities were lost in her latter years. Rest in peace, enjoy heaven!
